I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Pacific Medical Centers in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied for a per diem Medical Assistant Position and it took about 6 weeks to hear from anyone because the resumes don't go directly to the hiring manager but to the Providence Centralized Recruiting unit. They pre-screen potential candidates for the positions and then send it to the hiring manager for review. Providence Recruiting team will also call you to set up the appointment. You don't talk to the hiring manager until the day the interview. Then if they like you, you will go for a second interview.
I interviewed at Pacific Medical Centers (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Thorough with a screening and spoke directly with the hiring manager. Learned a lot about the atmosphere of work. I didn’t know they were a part of the Providence Swedish system.
