Was initially told they wanted to fill position quickly. However after a month as well as an presentation, the position was offered to an internal employee who was present in my interview. Seems like a great team/company but very disappointed by the process.

Phone interview first. Mostly asking about background, related experience & interest in the job/company. In person interview with recruiter, manager and co-worker. Asking about past experience with a few behavioral questions.

Interview
A 40-minute interview with one of the HR managers. Very friendly and personable. The manager asked the typical interview questions, including the bus stop one (what would you do if there are three people at a bus stop on a dark, rainy night... etc). Very pleasant -- put me at ease and almost thought it was in the bag. I didn't even receive a courtesy call, just the automated email response telling me I didn't get the job.
