I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pangea Money Transfer (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2023
Interview
First Round was with a senior resource.(Either Staff Engineer or EM).Asked basic OOPs and some basic Database questions on Joins
Second round they asked to build a API in C#. The requirements were unclear and even though i reached out to clarify and built it still they were unhappy and decided not to pursue.

Question 1
First round was basic oops and database questions.
Second Round was to build an API and upload to GIT. It was a take home assignment. Requirements were unclear and should be more streamlined.

Interview
First round is a quick call from HR followed by a call from one of the team leads with technical questions. The next step is a take home exam where they ask you to build an API. They stressed that you should absolutely not spend more than 2 hours on it, but there's no way you'll complete all of the requirements in 2 hours. I was told there would be a follow-up call to discuss what wasn't implemented in time and go over how I would build the missing parts and scale this to enterprise level. Instead, I received a rejection letter without any feedback. It would have been nice to know at least what they were looking for from the list of requirements considering 2 hours isn't enough time to complete them all, so you'll have to guess which are most important for this assessment. I think this process would be improved by cutting back on the large list of requirements so it's doable in 2 hours and that way the applicants can refine the process instead of rushing. Either that or mention what they should prioritize.

Question 1
General questions about background and experience and a take home assessment.

Interview
I was given a take-home technical. I was told to spend no more than 2 hours on it. The brief contained more work than could be reasonably finished in 2 hours. My submission was rejected because I didn't meet two secret expectations not covered in the brief.

Question 1
My interviewer said, "This will be an unusual interview process". He barely asked me anything, focusing entirely on the take-home and answering my questions about the role.
