Interview
Easy, fun group of people who interviewed me. They are passionate about the shows they produce and so should you if you're interviewing with them. We sat in an office, with lots of glass so I felt like I was on display. However, when I got the job I came to realize that they hire inexperienced editors who were unable to perform some of the tasks I asked of them - all the while favouring the editors over the producers. That was not what was presented to me in the interview and thus was disappointing to realise as time went on.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Paper Route Productions (Pearl River, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
I applied for a Story Producer position on Staff Me Up. After about 2 months, I was contacted by their EP via email. I spoke with him on the phone and we arranged a time to meet a week or so later. I went to their office in Pearl River, NY and met with the owner, EP and Production Manager. Very laid back interview. About 20 minutes. They called a few days later and offered me a freelance position, which I accepted.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about my background, my credits, referenced some industry names to establish some common ground/mutual associates in the business. They asked "what makes good TV", "what makes a good story" ... fairly standard questions.
