I applied, then did a Teams call with 3 Parata employees. HR, Tech Support Lead, and someone else.
All very nice and professional. Technical guy asked some sample technical questions, like basic troubleshooting, what commands in command line could do such and such, etc...
HR lady asked what do you value out of working, etc...
I appreciated the panel interview as normally most jobs are 2-3 rounds of interviews across upwards of 2-3 weeks. Much better to combine everything into one interview instead of waiting weeks to know if you're going to get a job or not.
I had an offer the day after the interview. I do worry if something was off by it being such a fast process, but seems like an alright enough company.
I unfortunately had to decline as I had a bunch of other interviews I wanted to see through. I'm also west coast and it would have been eastern hours for the first 6 months (day starting at 5 AM for me).
Pay was ok, $23, but if I completed A+ cert and a few other certs, it would have been $1 more per cert completed, so $26 fairly fast. Good earning potential, 6 months could have also brought a promotion, and work hours could have been changed to western support hours, making the 5 am start no more. I just wished it wouldn't require 6 months before flexible hours.
I do kinda regret declining, but it is what it is.
