I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Patagonia in Jun 2019
Interview
I had two interviews which were very chilled and positive experiences. Great company, ethos and office. I applied through a recruiter.
However, I was not contacted when they said they would and 2 weeks later with no contact, I had to reach out to them (which was not easy) to find out I was unsuccessful. This was frustrating as I was very invested and had sacrificed other opportunities in the meantime. Had I known sooner, I could have moved on quicker. I still have no solid feedback as to why I was rejected.
Even after I finally got an answer, I still haven't received my call to discuss feedback which I had arranged with them.
Incredibly disappointing, but it doesn't taint the company image for me. Just a disappointing way for something to end.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Patagonia (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2025
Interview
I submitted my application and received an email with an assessment which consisted of simple math, typing, and personal questions. They reached out a few days later asking to schedule an interview. The interview took place over Google Meet and it took around 20 minutes. They allowed time to introduce everyone, asked 3 simple questions, and ended with any comments and questions I had. I was expecting something much more difficult, but it was relaxed and the people were super friendly.

Interview
The interview was 20 minutes. They asked three questions all pertaining to experience with customers. Then they opened it up for you to ask questions. They shared that each interview was graded and that determined choices for hours and whether they picked you or not. I was notified a week later if I got the job or not.

Interview
They sent me a link to their website where I could study all about the company and prepare myself for the interview. But it was useless. They made me other questions. About past experiences and the distance form the office.

Question 1
They asked me where I lived (in the same place I put on my cv) and how long it takes the journey from there to Amesterdam. They were disappointed that I didn't live nearer.
