      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pernod Ricard in May 2018

      Interview

I applied online through their website and received an email that I passed the first stage of CV screening. After 10 days I received a call for a phone screening interview. It was a short interview - 10/15 min. I was told they would contact me regarding further steps. A day or two later they informed me that I was not selected "due to the high volume of exceptional applicants for this role".

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked questions like why this company and why this position, why am I interested in alcohol industry and how much I know about it.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pernod Ricard (London, England) in Aug 2018

      Interview

Unfortunately, the recruitment company that Pernod Ricard use for their graduate recruitment process (Discovery), meant that I had a negative experience. The entire process was exhausting and very time and travel consuming, especially if they decide in the final stage that they do not want to employ you. After completing an extensive number of stages for the process, I was put forward for the wrong position which meant I had to then re-do part of the application process which I had dedicated a lot of time and effort to. Finally, I was informed 2 days before that I was through to the assessment centre - I was scheduled in for a 'prep call,' but I received no call. With such short notice and little advice, I felt under prepared and disadvantaged compared to the other candidates, and could not give my best performance. Not only was my application mishandled, the feedback I was given was extremely vague and also patronising. I'm very disappointed, I was very passionate about the role and the company.
