Recruiter contacted me and set up a call. Was moved forward to technical interview with the backend data team. Was moved to final final interview with hiring manager. The hiring manager told me the next step would be an offer and I would hear back next week with the offer from the recruiter (this was back in June). The recruiter sent me an email about four days later, not even a phone call stating the position was delayed to open for a couple weeks. No big deal, wasn't really looking but the company sounded really interesting and was excited about the opportunity since all my skills matched perfectly with what they were looking for. Two weeks later I contacted the recruiter (did not contact me) to check in about the position and to see if they had a timeline to move forward. He wrote me back and told me he didn't have an exact date but would be mid summer. Here it is October and of course they never reached back out. Either their recruiting or hiring efforts are flawed or the company is very disorganized. You always expect a little disorganization from new company growing it's headcount at such a fierce pace but this was a little ridiculous. They ended up wasting a lot of my time and put 0 effort in maintaining the conversation. I have seen a few other reviews with the same issue, but really wanted to offer my experience as well. It's really too bad as you missed out on talent that had hard to fine skills.
