Pine Tree Independent School District interview questions

Two really long interviews back to back. Very intense total of 2 hours 45 minutes. They asked a ton of questions about my teaching back ground and my teaching style. How I would interact with inner city and low income students. What would I do to try and create a positive environment for my students.

I applied online, heard back from them about 2 weeks later to schedule an in person interview. There were two interviewers, both of which acted the exact same. They asked me several technical questions, waited for my response and then gave me a blank stare with absolutely no indication of whether the answer was what they were looking for or now. The questions were extremely general and diverse. I believe the tactic was to look for your expertise along with your confidence in your own abilities.
