-Applied through LinkedIn. -Received an email for a one-way interview -Interview with HR & Hiring Manager The hiring process was rather fast. They quickly got back to me after submitting my resume and received a rejection rather quickly, a major bonus! The only feedback is asking candidates to talk to a video camera as the first official interaction with the company, it's an over-investment for candidates. My rejection was based on not having automotive experience despite having all the other requirements. To be fair the person who held this position prior did have automotive industry experience listed on their LinkedIn. It's 2 months now and the new hire has not listed this place as an employer so I can't verify this info. Since the company is a household name they can definitely hold out for their Unicron. I wish they would list industry experience as a priority and save people the hassle of jumping through their hoops. I would recommend applying if you have the required experience in your field along with auto industry experience - otherwise don't bother. In addition, the pay wasn't bad at 90K. I did notice by looking at their LinkedIn profile that their corporate staff is not very diverse, I was curious if the new hire was a POC, because the previous person wasn't. It's a very small staff in Costa Mesa so hopefully the next opening they have they really look into hiring a POC, specifically people who are decision-makers.
