I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2013
Interview
Not very structured. Was moved for one interviewer to the next. Had not been provided the names, titles, and areas of responsibility of the interviewers. The interviewers seemed unprepared and viewed the requirement to interview me as a disruption.

Question 1
Did I have experience in the other aerospace companies and how could I apply that knowledge?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (Hartford, CT) in Nov 2018
Interview
I applied online. There was a long application form to fill. I submitted a resume and a cover letter, that addressed all the required and preferred qualifications listed in the job description.
I received an email a couple of days later. We had a phone interview. This was the most unprofessional interview I have had. They said I needed to speak at a slow pace because they were not a recruiter and they needed to type down everything I said so that they could give the report to the recruiter.
They repeated all the questions that were in their application form, that I had filled out when applying. At times they asked me to repeat myself or to slow down because they were behind typing. At the end, they asked me three general technical questions, they had the hardest time to understand the jargon, so I had to repeat and spell the words for her.
This frustrating process took an hour to end.
Any question I asked them, they said they were unable to answer because they did not know.
At the end, they said they even could not tell me when next I would be hearing from them because it all depends on the recruiters schedule and they had no idea about it.
A week later, I received a rejection email from P&W.
If this is the level of professionalism they practice, I am glad I did not get more involved with them.
