The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney in Aug 2010
Interview
I initially had a phone interview, which was typical but with one technical question at the end. I was then invited to their recruiting event. The event had about 12 other candidates who were all brought in from across the country. It was my understanding that they were having multiple events like this so they were interviewing many people. The event included a panel discussion with current employees and a presentation by a manager. Each candidate also had two 1-1 interviews with employees, which were typical interview situations. The whole event occurred in a show room with various engines, but we were never taken to see the actual working environment which was disappointing and off putting.
1. Phone interview with HR. Basic questions about yourself
2. In person interview with head engineer
The interviews didnt have any technical questions, the only important detail was speaking english (atleast little bit)
I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, CT)
Interview
I had a brief phone interview with a recruiter. Mostly standard issue interview questions. It was tough to get a feel for the company beyond a pretty standard bureaucratic tone.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (Florida Ridge, FL) in Mar 2023
Interview
It was pretty average in terms of a routine mechanical engineering question. it started with a greeting then we went a little bit into experince and the went directly to talk about the position and what i would be doing if i was accepted/.
