Presto Engineering interviews FAQs
Glassdoor users rated their interview experience at Presto Engineering as 50% positive with a difficulty rating score of 2 out of 5 (where 5 is the highest level of difficulty). Candidates interviewing for Manager and Engineer rated their interviews as the hardest, whereas interviews for Test Engineer and Engineer roles were rated as the easiest.
The hiring process at Presto Engineering takes an average of 3 days when considering 4 user submitted interviews across all job titles. To compare, the average duration of hiring at similar companies like BlackRock, Inc. is 14 days, Fabricated Software, Inc. is 2 days, and Apple Inc. is 21 days. Candidates applying for Marketing Administrative Assistant had the quickest hiring process (on average 1 day), whereas Test Engineer roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 4 days).
The interview process was disappointing and unprofessional. The discussion was superficial, with little meaningful conversation about the role, responsibilities, expectations, or compensation. Salary expectations were not addressed until after an in-person interview had already been scheduled.
Candidates were expected to travel significant distances at their own expense for a short interview despite the lack of prior alignment on key topics. This resulted in unnecessary costs and wasted time.
Overall, the recruitment process gave a poor impression of the company’s culture and respect for candidates. I would not recommend applying unless compensation and expectations are clarified upfront.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview questions were generic and did not provide meaningful insight into the role. There was little discussion about the actual responsibilities, reporting structure, legal scope, key challenges, or compensation package. The position itself appeared poorly defined, with the title changing during the recruitment process, creating uncertainty about the level, responsibilities, and compensation associated with the role. Despite this lack of clarity, candidates were expected to travel significant distances at their own expense for an in-person interview. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not aligned with the standards expected for a senior legal position.
it was easy and positive. They only asked questions about the resume, they show what they do in detail and explain it very well. The whole process was welcoming and polite.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Presto Engineering (Caen) in Mar 2016
Interview
