I skipped a few rounds through a referral and had a very nice experience interviewing with them. I first had a round regarding past experiences and projects .I then had a take-home problem statement (like an open-ended olympiad problem) that could really showcase your core-CS/systems-fundamentals and intelligent design - a very fun project I continued to work on after the interviews were done.
They made a very good offer that I almost took up, but decided to leave for a different career track. Their offer beat many faang offers that I know of, and for someone interested in startups and a small environment that fosters career growth, Hasura is probably a very good place to work. Nice people overall, great discussions.
Got no competitive coding questions at all, though it probably helped that they knew I already had an offer from a company that is known for more competitive-coding-centric interviews.
