    Interview

You apply online, get an email with an interview date offer, interview, do preemployment tasks, get hired, train, clinic training, then you're off to working! Fairly easy, but competitive. Must have great communication skills. Must type fast. Overall, I'd say it was worth the process to earn the experience.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Proscribe (Dallas, TX).

    Interview

After submitting my application through their online process and completing a typing test, I was later called for an interview. Since the company is stationed in San Antonio and I was in Dallas, the interview was handled through a video conference. During the interview I was asked questions on my interest in the medical field, some situation-based questions that related to situations that one could actually face while on the job.

    Interview Questions

    • I don't remember all of the questions asked, but one question asked me about how I would respond to a situation where a co-worker needed someone to cover their shift for them, but I also had a test I needed to prepare for. What would I do in that situation.   Answer Question

    Medical Scribe Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Proscribe (Waco, TX) in March 2013.

    Interview

Interview was conducted via Skype with an out-sourced hiring manager. One of the easiest interviews of my life. Basically they just check to make sure you are qualified and socially competent. The real test comes later during classroom and clinical training. It seems that they need employees badly right now.
