I would like to echo another poor interview experience I read here.
I took a half-day off to attend face-to-face technical interviews (2 nos). The interview went really well. The people in the Bangalore office are very nice. They were on time and pretty clear about the expectations. Questions were on DS (Trees, Lists), Algo, Spring Cloud, Algo, Angular, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, etc.
Later, I was scheduled for a discussion with India Head the following day which went ok. Next, my profile was forwarded for the last discussion with a senior panel from the US.
It was close to the worst interview experience I have ever had. A few pointers:
1. They asked really weird questions on some irrelevant/least-known concepts.
2. They asked some differences between unrelated things.
3. Vaguely structured design problems asked were not subjective (open for discussion) but very objective (they were expecting a very specific answer). Every solution I gave was not acceptable as there is a limitation that was never mentioned before. And every limitation leads you to the very specific answer they are expecting. If only we could specifically pick our problems, right?
Stay away. Stay blessed.
