I provided the references as requested and chose those who I felt best give an accurate snapshot of my performance and professionalism. The person who interviewed me wanted a reference that she preferred. I felt that she was not sure of hiring me and made the process unpleasant. I was turned off and did not continue the process. She had already indicated what type of manager she is.
