The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ramsoft in Nov 2022
Interview
The hiring process included a meeting with a recruiter, a take home assignment, a follow up meeting about the take-home assignment, a meeting with a technical manager, and a final interview. Most of the interview process went well and the questions asked, were typical, such as tell me what you know about the company and describe your previous work experience. The technical take home assignment took a reasonable amount of time to complete, about two or three hours, and wasn’t too difficult. The follow-up interview had reasonable questions asking about how I would improve the code and presented different scenarios asking how I would deal with them. The reason I gave a negative score was for the last interview, which made me not want to work there. I was told by the recruiter that this final interview would be more behavioural and not technical. The final interview was 99% technical questions, many of which the interviewers made up on the spot and were confusing. They only asked 2 behavioural questions. A second negative aspect of this interview was that one of the interviewers would consistently interrupt me mid-sentence and clearly hadn’t prepared his questions beforehand.
Interview was a quick process with normal protocol. Testing knowledge based on experience as well as soft skills through questions/scenarios. Overall, the interview procedure was average difficulty and did not include surprises.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ramsoft (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2022
Interview
Was contacted for a screening call and thought it went well. The interview said she would get back to me within two days, but never did. Contacted them multiple times but no reply, not even a rejection. Really bizarre and unprofessional.
