Interview
Met with the internal recruiter who stated that they were looking for an Account Manager to fill immediately.
For the second Interview I then traveled to the office site which the job was and met with one of the VP's and the local Branch Manager. We really hit it off and had a great discussion about the opportunity and the company.

Question 1
They asked me about my sales experience, how I would approach the role, when I was available, what will I bring to the table, why would I want to work there.
Following my meeting with the VP and Branch Manager I was asked me to meet some of their internal sales staff - of whom were never available to meet.
Following that I found out that there was no position available to begin with of which I confirmed with the people I had initially interviewed.
Then I was told by the very same internal recruiter that another Account Manager role had become available in a different division in the same office location and that because I had such a great interview previously that they were actively looking to hire me as an Account Manager.
Thus, I went to meet a different VP who stated that we were not discussing the Account Manager role whatsoever and that they were looking for an appointment booker in a junior role. The VP told me he was surprised I would even consider such a role and when I told him that I was there to interview for the Account Manager's role with his team. He stated that no such role existed and expressed to me his anger with the internal recruiter and apologized to me.

Interview
Apply online through seek then an Initial phone call from a representative followed by teams interview, mine was a group interview then had a one on one during this teams meeting.
I found that it was easy to apply and the interviewer was a pleasant and professional individual. I found the experience to be relaxed and enjoyable. Working with the company ended up being a positive experience.
