      User Operations Associate Interview

      Apr 4, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

      I interviewed at Reddit

      Interview

I only got as far as the initial email screen. I applied for the position online and received an email a couple of weeks later asking for times that I'd be available for an interview. I was sent a link to an online scheduler, and I promptly put in my preferred dates and times for the following week. The email promised that they'd get back to me about finalizing the time. This was on Thursday. By Friday evening I still hadn't heard back from them, so I sent a follow up email. No answer. The following week, my proposed interview times came and went, and still nothing. So I was initially contacted by them, and then I was ghosted after I did what they asked. This felt pretty unprofessional to me, and I'm now wary of dealing with Reddit (or at least some of their hiring people) again. I would have preferred even a terse rejection email than nothing at all.

      User Operations Associate Interview

      Apr 25, 2016
      Anonymous employee

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Reddit (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2016

      Interview

The interview process was fairly standard. It started with an initial e-mail screen, which consisted of some industry related questions. The e-mail screen was followed by a phone conversation/screen. Then came the on-site interview. I met a total of four employees (of various levels with the company). Each 1-on-1 was different and a few were via google chat. Again, the interview process seemed standard, and I enjoyed each employee that I interacted with.
