Tuve una primera entrevista con el equipo de recursos humanos en inglés. La conversación fue cordial y profesional, centrada en mi experiencia, motivaciones y expectativas de cambio. El proceso inicial resultó claro y bien organizado, con buena comunicación por parte de la empresa en todo momento.

Me pidieron que explicara en detalle mi trayectoria profesional, los proyectos más relevantes en los que he participado y las tecnologías utilizadas. También indagaron en mis áreas de interés, motivaciones y expectativas respecto a un posible cambio de rol, así como el tipo de entorno y responsabilidades que busco en mi siguiente etapa profesional.
First round is a chat with the HR, he will then make you complete a SQL hackerrank test followed by 2 technical rounds and 1 business round. Hackerrank includes some MCQ questions about machine learning concepts.

A entrevista foi excessivamente técnica e impessoal, com pouca abertura ao diálogo. O entrevistador mencionou ter apenas 15 minutos, o que transmitiu pressa e dificultou uma troca mais equilibrada e informativa.

Interview
This interview process was disappointing and felt poorly handled overall. I received an initial email inviting me to complete a technical task via HackerRank. The documentation provided clearly outlined which coding language and exercises applied to the role I had applied for, and which applied to a different engineering role. However, the actual HackerRank test I was assigned corresponded to the other role, not the one referenced in the invitation.
I went ahead and completed the task anyway, as I had some familiarity with the language. After submitting it, I tried contacting the recruiter multiple times, but despite three follow-up emails over two weeks, I never received a response. A few weeks later, I was notified that the role had already been filled.
The lack of communication and personal consideration made the experience feel impersonal and disconnected. Given the time candidates are asked to invest, even if it’s only a couple of hours, clearer expectations and basic follow-up would go a long way toward creating a more respectful interview process.
