I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Jan 2019
Interview
Revolut found me via "companies apply to your profile" hiring platform (not sure whether glassdoor allows me to say the exact name - it was hired.com).
Fist step was video interview with the company recruiter. Typical non-technical questions. Ok, nothing out of the ordinary.
Second step was "to write react app" home assignment. From the description, I saw that it is a long one and will take me somewhere between 7 - 15 hours to finish. I was very reluctant to do it (because as a candidate you can pour hours and hours into the project and be rejected with nothing more than automatic email template). Then you have nobody to blame, but yourself for wasting so much time. Ok, I did the assignment anyway and passed it.
Third step was a video interview with 2 Front end developers, from the company. They gave me a codesharing link and there was presented a long list of questions in style "what will be printed in JavaScript console". By themselves, such questions are not evil and can help assess the candidate knowledge, but in this case, the whole one hour and a half interview consisted of going through this list, line by line.
After maybe 1/3 of the list, I felt extremely stressed out and unsure of everything. At this time, if there would be a question what the result of 2+2 calculation or how people call the first meal of the day or what time of the year it is right now, I doubt I would be able to answer any of these basic questions with confidence as well.
I got a rejection email a couple of days later.

Question 1
Explain what will be printed in the console (JavaScript "not what you expect" style of questions)
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Revolut (Dubai) in Jan 2026
Interview
easy and not that hard , it was good and around 1 hour, and you can finish earlier, so no worries at all, you can start with solving some frontend tasks with typescript until you becomes ready
The interview process was good. I was able to speak with recruiter and it was very polite and gentle. Recruiter was asking some technical questions that was unusual for me, and for the next step it was 3 algo that you need to solve 2/3
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Apr 2024
Interview
The recruiter was late for the interview and didn't apologize. They seemed unprepared for the interview, as they almost cut it short at the beginning because they couldn't remember what position I was applying for. Next, there was a coding challenge. After that, I had a technical interview with a specialist. At the end of the interview, they promised to get back to me within two days. However, I never received any results or feedback. For a company of this size, I think this is unacceptable. Even an automated response would have been better, but I didn't get that either.
