Phone screen with HR. Phone interview with associate. Test Exercise (non-legal). Face to face with head of legal. Legal exercise.
Exercises were fine but the non-legal exercise may stretch lawyers as this is outside of their usual skill-set i.e. data manipulation. I would say it's more a test of resourcefulness than hard-wired skills.
Interview was shambolic. I know startups are busy environments, but if recruitment / prioritising your most important asset (human capital) isn't a top priority at this stage in the company's growth, then you know what it will look like as an employee...
