4 Stage interview process, got only to the third stage. 1. HR discussion 2. Technical Test 3. Technical Interview (reviewing the technical test, extra cyber or general technical based questions and a challenge) 4. Cybersecurity Hiring manager interview (culture, fit with the company) The technical interview was not easy but challenging and interesting so I put the effort to create a detailed report. (3-5 days deadline) That report was what it seems to be glanced over and the actual interview was relating to other or sort of related to the parts of the report but generic. (2 actual questions regarding the work, which is fine) What was disappointing was that I was not informed that 3 people would join, was made to think that only one guy would be present for the last interview. Two of the people were just watching mostly and that made me uncomfortable. (Actual interviewer was nice overall, even though some questions were a bit unclear) I did mess up some questions that i easily knew because I of this. I can't claim I was perfect but what I am trying to say is that it is in the benefit of both the candidate and the interviewer to make the process clear and transparent, and put more effort in making the interview less tense. I would have liked to have a positive review for Revolut but the last interview and process left me with a bitter-sweet feeling. (And not because of the rejection)

I had the initial interview with HR. The conversation was very quick he seemed to keep quite short which is fine. I suspect who has to do this processes a lot of times. After the conversation he sent me a take home test. The format of the test requries an ova file which is not possible to open on MacOs with M1 chips. I asked if there is another format he said no (which is poor from revolut but ok). I told I would have to purchase cloud computing usage which is fine but before i make this 15 euro purchase i wanted to know some information about the test and what is expected of me. I wanted to know what the test is about if it is penetration testing or malware analysis. I told him there is no point in doing the test if it is malware analysis as I have never done this. His literal answer was "I have no access to the HT so I cannot tell you for sure :)". Then I asked him what is expected of me. What level of experience is required of me because perhaps you require a skill that i dont have or you looking for some with who is senior. His answer was "All the information required is in the mail :)" the mail he is referencing is the email sent for the coding test which obvious dont answer that question. I will leave my opinion out of this review as it doesnt require one.
