Interview
I had an interview in their office with HR manager and the Supply Chain manager, who would be my manager if I got the offer. I can say it was quite positive. They asked questions about every point in my CV and regarding my last positions. In general, it was fine, but at the end she showed me some drawings with the questions and tasks. It was a little bit odd, as I told that I have a good experience working with electronic devices (as they looked for a Buyer who worked with electronic components), but I didn't work specifically with drawings, as I'm not a technical engineer.
In a few days I received a common email with common info that they ' were deeply impressed by my experience and our conversation, but they chose another candidate whose experience was close to the one they are looking for." I was ready for this reply, as I didn't feel the "match" during this meeting and don't think this is the job I was looking for. But I was a little bit surprised when a few days after I saw their reposted vacancy again, and still see that they are still searching for the person for this position.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SENKO Advanced Components (Tokyo) in Nov 2024
