I was contacted via recruiter on Linkedin for a different role but was presented with this and an additional strategic sourcing role. I was told the interview process as an initial phone screen and then a virtual with the hiring manager. I passed both and the hiring manager really liked me and recommended me for the additional role.
I then interviewed with 6 people back to back for the initial role and was told I did a good job. Then I had an additional meeting with the hiring manager for the second role and was told I did a good job.
I was told I a decision would be made within 3 days of my last interview. This did not happen. Over the course of 2 weeks, I asked for updates. I randomly got an email today after sending another email to the recruiter. I was told the job was given to someone else and the other role was placed on hold.
I made an effort to accommodate the 6 interviews in one day process and instead I was ghosted until I hounded the recruiter for an update. The effort was not worth the time.
All interview questions were STAR based and generic questions assigned to each interviewer. Overall, the time and effort applied to this role were not worth the outcome. If someone goes through the amount of interviews I did, it would be decent for the company to provide an update and not a generic "we went with a stronger candidate".
