Saint Petersburg State interview questions

There was two steps in my interview: - telephone interview with one of senior lecturers - intramural interview with head of the chair After that starts long procedure: first, your candidature will be considered by special resoursement comittee. Next step - open voting by members of your future department. And last - closed voting by members of the faculty academic council.

The head of the Arts department asked me various questions about what I was going to teach, the experience I had and questions about myself. I also had to describe my own music experience: playing with bands, how I learned to play and where, etc. Overall the interviewer was very friendly and helpful.
