      I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Sartorius (Bohemia, NY) in Jul 2016

      Interview

      Process was excruciatingly long. First phone interview was in April. Then a 2nd round phone interview 3 weeks later. Followed up with an on site interview 2 months later, in mid July. Prior to the on site interview, I had to provide 5 references. These references were emailed a detailed questionnaire. Additionally; they asked for a 10 page power point presentation to be reviewed in the interview. They interview you as a panel. My panel had 3 people there and one on the phone. When I finished the interview I asked the panel, how they thought I did and if they had any concerns about my candidacy. The only concern one of the panel members had, was the commute distance I would have (an hour +). I was told I should hear something by the end of July. After not receiving any update I emailed my primary contact to inquiry what the current status was; I received an out of office message, stating a return in 2 weeks. I then emailed my secondary contact, several times, with no response. So now I'm left with waiting until my primary contact returns. Given the time involved here and lack of response from the secondary I had figured there wasn't any interest on their part, however, given all the time I had invested here, I did want a response. When my primary contact was due back, I emailed them again, the response was, oh yeah I meant to let you know prior to my vacation, but didn't get to it. Really professional.
