I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Save-On Foods in Sep 2016
Interview
Submitted my application online. Two and a half weeks later, received a phone call from a regional hiring manager who asked me about my availability as well as some basic interview questions. At the end of the 20 minute phone call, I was offered an in-person interview at my local store the following week. In-person interview lasted about 40 minutes and went very well - the hiring manager was very easy-going and personable. Ultimately was not offered the position due to my inability to work graveyard shifts.
Pretty standard interview, staff were nice, questions were as expected. Interview was on kind of short notice but nothing too extreme. Interview took place on a table in the deli section, was pretty quiet and private though.
Great interview, efficient and effective. Nice people. Gave me time to thoroughly answer and left room for me to also ask questions. I look forward to seeing them thrive in this competitive market.
I dropped the resume off in-person. And, then, I received a phone call after some days from the store manager and was called in for an in-person interview. The questions were straightforward and asked things like strengths, past experience, skills, qualifications etc.
