I was approached by a member of the team and we scheduled a phone interview.
The phone interview went over what they were looking for and what next steps would be. It went well, so I was scheduled for an in person interview at their office with some more members of their staff.
At the interview in the office I was asked some technical questions by the leads of the dev team, one senior, on junior. Then I was told to present code from some projects I had worked on.
After the technical questions and presentation, they gave me the chance to ask them questions about the company and culture one-on-one with a Junior member of the team while the senior dev brought in someone else.
Then I was interviewed by other members of the team about why I wanted to work at Selvera.
I thought each step of the process went well, but I received a job offer while I was waiting to hear back from them. When I followed up they said they weren't ready to make a decision, so I took the other job, and eventually I was rejected from Selvera. Seems like a nice place to work, really nice team. I can't say any part of the process was unpleasant or went poorly, I guess I just wasn't what they were looking for.
