I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Semtech (Burlington, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
Very relaxed. Employer just talked about what I knew as a student. Presented common electrical circuits/logic and asked me to draw responses or outputs. Then talked about academic projects, what my program was about, certain classes that I took that were relevant to this job.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Semtech (Calgary, AB)
Interview
Very strange interview, they gave me a paper test with BJT and MOSFET circuit analysis. The hiring process was very quick. The staff seemed personable and friendly. It seems like the work can become very one tracked and become tedious.
