Sensewhere interview questions

The 1st round is telephone interview about my general experience on CV and the 2nd round is face-to-face interview. I was asked to prepare a long presentation about my previous work before the interview date. I get no response until I asked them about the decision. They just said the position has niche requirements, but I think my experience and skills satisfy most of the requirements in the job post. They really should mention clearly the requirements in the post or/and identify wether my experience is suitable in the 1st of interview. It is really wasting my time, my feeling is that they just want to gain some technical information from me. BTW, Office environment is not good.
