I was contacted proactively, by a member of their Talent Acquisition team. We booked a 30 minute call to which my interviewer arrived late. The Zoom was badly glitching - poor audio with a delay. A few questions and zero information about the role, the interviewer seemed quite uncomfortable.
The call was one-way traffic and before closing I interjected by asking why my host joined the company. No information was given about the business, only spoke about why they left their previous role. I expected more constructive conversation from a TA peer. I received a weak email a few days later informing me I’m not the right fit. For what? I was given very little info about the role and the comms on this call were severely hampered.
The business looks good, but this was a very poor experience.
