Question 1
Do you prefer to work with small company or big company?
I applied for a job as a scientist and was asked to interview. They asked me to give a talk, followed by meetings with different teams, including the staff and the person I was supposed to work with. The interview organization was changed/updated several times. I had a meeting with a team unrelated to my work for 45 minutes and my meeting with colleagues in my area of work was much shorter. On one occasion, the person who was supposed to be meeting me forgot about it and I was left waiting for them to join wondering what was going on! When they finally did join, the tardiness was not even acknowledged. They did ask me for references a few days after the interview. I never heard back from them. Overall, I feel like they could have been a tad more professional and organized. I did enjoy talking to their staff.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sequlite (Dublin, CA) in Jun 2021
