Telephone interview, the HR "professional" sounded excited and after we discussed duties and responsibilities and salary requirements scheduled a next day in person meeting with the unit director. She told me she would email the details in 15 minutes and to let her know if I didn't receive it. I called after 45 minutes and told her I hadn't received the email. I was told there was a conflict for the next day but asked if we could meet the following week. I said we could and she would email the details. I heard not once again. I called and left messages and never heard back. Shortly afterwards I saw online my application was declined. Ghosted by the recruiter. Perhaps it was my age?
