I was out of the country when I applied but the interviewers were willing to conduct a video interview.
I had to fill up a technical quiz as well as answer questions about my knowledge of the industry.

I was asked about to write a complex SQL statement
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Shell
Interview
Interview process was the typical initial phone interview. Next was an in-person pane-style interview. I was asked about my past employment and experiences and types of issues I encountered. It wasn't as rigid as interviews I had experienced in the past.
