I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Houston, TX)
Interview
I am a college hire, so I had one interview on campus, and then flew to Houston a few weeks after for a second round interview. Honestly, it was a pretty standard interview, nothing too special. The second round interview was intense though, and my interviewers were UNREADABLE! So it's very hard to tell if you are doing a good job or not. Overall, a very good experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The case study they give you in second round interviews is long and they don't give you much time to read through it, so be ready to think on your feet!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shell (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in May 2011
Interview
I was referred to the hiring manager. I had three interviews.
1. Hiring manager. Took around 45min and it was mainly to check my background and if I can do the job. The most important part for him was to check if we can work together in the same team.
2. Supply Chain manager. Took around 15min and it was just a kind of chat about my previous experience and personality.
3. HR (last one). Took around 20min and it was mainly about the company's policy and if I will be committed to all the safety, environmental and ethical rules and code of conduct.
