I had a phone call interview before preliminary interview before the physical one. Various questions were asked focusing on personality and emotional intelligent. During the physical interview, we were divided into few groups and given activities to solve.

Interview
Rigorous technical interview held over the phone by a panel of 3 or 4 persons. Lasted under an hour. Questions asked covered the various processes in well engineering with a few more specific questions in any areas of interest to the particular interviewer

Interview
I applied for the Shell Graduate program. The process comprised of 3 stages - online test, telephone interview and Shell Recruitment Day (SRD).
The questions I was asked in the phone interview were mainly behavioral-based. For SRD, a group of candidates were invited to the Shell offices for 2 days. The first day was mainly a get-to-Shell session where we had employees share their experiences on working in Shell. The next day was the interview which consisted of 4 exercises:
- An. email simulation exercise where you respond to emails and file documents
- A round table discussion and presentation
- A case study presentation
- A final interview
