      Machine Operator Interview

      Oct 26, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sig Sauer in Oct 2016

      Interview

Communicating via email with a staffing consultant but also had a quick (very) phone interview with an employee who neglected to tell me his name. He said he wanted somebody with more experience. Staffing consultant still scheduled me for an interview. Came in and spoke to 3-4 different people who were insistent on knowing terms of my termination from previous employer (confidential). Interviewers commonly spent a few minutes chatting with coworkers with me standing right there, also swore quite often. The whole interview process was very unprofessional and they did not hesitate in letting me know they didn't want to be there. They had no idea who I spoke to on the phone, so their communication cannot be too good. The only decent part of the interview was with the Quality Manager and it involved reading blueprints. Also felt like I was somewhat singled out because I did not own a gun. Staffing consultant only got back to me when I emailed her a week after the interview. Kind of glad I didn't get the job with these clueless idiots.
