As an interviewee, I view the interview process as a structured opportunity to present my qualifications, skills, and professional attitude to the employer.
Application and Shortlisting:
The process usually begins when I submit my résumé and application for the role. If my profile aligns with the company’s requirements, I’m shortlisted for the next round.
Initial Screening (HR Round):
In this stage, I interact with the HR representative, who assesses my background, communication skills, and basic fit for the organization. I also get to understand more about the company’s culture, role expectations, and growth opportunities.
Technical or Functional Round:
Here, I demonstrate my core competencies related to the job — whether that’s HR operations, data handling, or domain-specific knowledge. I focus on answering scenario-based questions and explaining my past experiences clearly.
Managerial or Panel Interview:
This round usually evaluates my decision-making, teamwork, and ability to handle workplace challenges. I try to communicate how I’ve managed responsibilities, solved problems, and contributed to organizational goals.
