Interviewer was nice. Intro recruiter call, but then a bg check before they decide whether or not you pass and can do the technical. I did not pass the bg check (idk why). The tier of questions in the recruiter call are "why do you want to work here" "why are you seeking this role" "hows your job search" and "what are the four pillars of oop" (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and the other one i forgor) "explain why the four pillars of oop are good"

Question 1
"why do you want to work here" "why are you seeking this role" "hows your job search" and "what are the four pillars of oop" (encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and the other one i forgor) "explain why the four pillars of oop are good"
It started with an initial phone screening, followed by a technical interview where my skills were assessed, and concluded with a cultural fit interview to make sure there was a good mutual match. Overall, the steps were clear, well-organized, and easy to navigate.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SkillStorm (Florence, KY) in Dec 2024
Interview
This company is a joke never work for them. I had an initial phone screen which went really well and then they had me take a technical quiz online going over basic coding questions. Then I went through a 30 minute intense technical interview which I studied a lot for and ended up passing. Just to get a contingent offer from them and find out I had to pass one more simple interview which I found out I didn't pass. To me this is ridiculous you pass all the hard stuff and get led on just for them to tell you because you didn't pass the easy interview we aren't moving forward with you. Also this company offers terrible pay for the industry.
