      Motion Graphics Designer Interview

      Apr 25, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Sky (London, England) in Feb 2019

      Interview

I applied for a motion graphics designer role and was invited to come in for and onterview almost 3 months later. The initial interview was more like a quick chat than an indepth interview with lots of questions and felt very unprofessional. Then I got an email telling me that if I have not received feedback within 7 working days I should email them. After 7 days and no feedback I decided to give it a chance and email them. I was told someone will get back to me in the next 5 working days. 5 days later still nothing. Another mail, another reply. Then I received a call from a recruiter but unfortunately I was at work and it went to voivemail. Trying to call back but was put on hold and then told he would ring me back in a few minutes after his meeting. Minutes turned into hours, into days. Suddenly I had another missed call from the same recruiter. Tried to call back again. Guy was in a meeting again but told me to call him later on his personal mobile as he will be going on holiday and won't be in the office. He never picked up the phone. Two weeks later I got a text from him asking when he can call me for feedback etc. I replied he can call whenever between 9 and 6pm. That call never happened. It has been 7 weeks since that last text. All in all its 5 months since applying till the last text message. I have never experienced anything like this before. I wonder how people actualy end up working there with such a process. Anyway my advice would be to stay clear of Sky and look for something better!!!!
