Soon after applying I was invited for an interview with the manager at their office in Liverpool. This was a very brief chat, after which I was invited for a day shadowing the team. I was told this day was an interview day and that I was in competition with the four other applicants for the job. The day involved shadowing the door to door sales team around for a day, followed by a questionnaire and another one to one interview with the manager at the end.
They don't really tell you much about the job until you're quite far into the process. The job is basically door to door sales where you work on a commission only basis, so no hourly pay. Although there is the potential to earn a lot of money if you work hard, I saw some workers only make 2 sales for 10 hours of work. This will have only earned them about £30, so about £3 per hour. The job just wasn't what I, or any of the their applicants I met, expected it to be and although the experience wasn't negative, they need to advertise their job better.
