Discussion with editor and chief about expectations and qualifications. Sat in his office for about an hour talking about the kind of work I'd like to do and what he saw the position offering. He talked about what he was looking for in a candidate and who else had applied. Discussed how some applicants were better for the position than me, others were worse.
