I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Snapdeal (New Delhi) in Mar 2021
Interview
Snapdeal visited our campus for Graduate Engineer Trainee Role for final year students from computer science related branches. First round was an online test which comprises of around 20 MCQs on aptitude and CS theory subjects and the time given for the MCQs were around 30 mins. There were 5 coding questions as well out of which 3 were easy and 1 was medium and 1 was medium-hard level. The time given for coding test was 1 hour. It was time that increases the difficulty of this test.
I got a call from the HR the same day for next rounds as I have cleared the online test. The first round was 45 mins technical interview. It was scheduled for two days later. The interviewer was nice and it feels like a good conversation throughout the interview. He asked questions from almost every skills that I have mentioned on my resume. First I was asked about different sorting algorithms and STL as well. Then questions like 'to check if string is palindrome or not' and 'to find permutations of a given string'. Then a question similar to 'sort an array of 0's and 1's'. I was sharing my screen to the interviewer. I was asked to write code on my local IDE and then to actually run it on some input case. They wanted to test the speed of candidates. I was also asked some SQL queries and questions from OOP, OS,DBMS as well. He also asked me to briefly tell about my projects as well.
Later at night I got a call from my HR. She told me that I got selected for the GET(Graduate Engineer Trainee) opportunity.
It was a 3 phase process, with the first two rounds being a technical round and the last one being an HR round. The overall process was smooth and there were no delays. The interviewers were very helpful.
