I found the process disrespectful of my time and energy.
I did not apply but was contacted by a recruiter for an initial screen. They then sent me a take-home coding assignment, which I completed above and beyond the requirements. This represented a significant expenditure of time and energy on my behalf without equal investment of their time, something I've seen with early stage startups (understandably) but not with such an established growth-stage company like this.
I was sent an auto-rejection email from Ashby without any feedback whatsoever.

Extremely bad process - think bottom of the barrel process.
Soulless recruiter will ask to have 30 minutes call on Zoom where he’ll make sure to not smile even once.
Then just hand you a take home project which is nothing but waste of your time.
Their recruiters kept reaching out to me via LinkedIn so I finally decided to respond.
Overall I would never give my time to companies with processes like this so yeah I should have known better
