I rarely take the time to complete automated quizzes sent by companies after sending in an application, but in this case I took the 20 minutes out of my day to complete it. Within a day, I got an automated message that I was not selected for the job, which is fine, but it really makes me feel like I wasted the 20 minutes doing the quiz, just to get an automated response. Moving forward I do see it as a red flag when a company (such as this company) requires a quiz or assessment before even an initial conversation.
