Applied on company website. Completed an assessment. Recruiter set up a phone interview. The time came and went and they never called. Sent a follow up email to which I received no response. I do not appreciate the disrespect and waste of my time. Interestingly, the job is no longer posted on their website. If the job was already filled, that should be an easy thing to communicate to candidates.

My interviewer was Susie! She was absolutely amazing and confident! I am always nervous during interviews. Susie made me feel like I already had the job! The recruiter and HR department were attentive and patient with all my questions. Onboarding makes all the difference and this experience has been stellar!
- Tell me about a time that you dealt with a difficult customer?

As long as you can show a proven track record in your own sales career, paired with the motivation to help others succeed, you should have no problem getting this role. Just need to make sure you have been in the ground work!
- How would you handle a rep that is failing to meet their sales goal month after month?

I received a call from a recruiter and had a 15-minute conversation. The conversation mostly revolved around my experience with employee investigations. That should have been my first red flag, that they would have so many. I was selected to move on to the next stage. She was pleasant and spent most of the time trying to scare and warn me about the rigors of the job. They went through 4 people in the last few years 3 of them couldn't take the workload. She stated that due to the number of employees, they should have more HR people but they don't, so basically they work everyone to death instead of hiring more people (my thoughts not theirs.) I was immediately scheduled for a final interview with another HR teammate and executives. This one seemed a little more disorganized as they were stumbling over each other on the questions. All three were very pleasant though. But again they spent about half the interview trying to scare me off. When I asked the generalist in the interview (who would have been my teammate) how she copes with all the stress they are describing, she responded "I just do." This was her first job out of college and was there for about 15 years or so. So it sounds like she doesn't know any better and thinks this is how it is. I did not want this job after this third interview but I didn't withdraw. I wanted to see if I would get an offer so I could leverage my other offers. I sent 3 follow-up emails to the recruiter handling my process and never received a response. After 2.5 weeks after my final interview with no updates, I found out I was no longer being considered from their portal. They were very disrespectful to let me find out like that and just shows how they treat their employees. If they are going to treat their candidates like this, it just goes to show how they treat their staff. I would think twice about Spectrum. They may pay decent and have good benefits but with them cycling through employees (who know better) like they do, it doesn't make for a positive future.
- Can you handle working late nights and taking after-hours calls?

The interviewer was very thorough and personable. He gave me tons of industrial insight. Honestly we had a good time just talking. He was an African American guy, and so am I. I could feel a sense of brotherhood
- Where do you see yourself in a few years if you were hired?

Poor quality. Never asked what qualities I bring to the job, no Star questions. He only wanted to b hear about my experience in Thailand. Never asked about other jobs.
- Poor b quality Interview. He was only interested in my overseas expression and not how that job related to my new job at Spectrum.
