I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sprinkles Cupcakes (La Jolla, CA)
Interview
It was ok. First I did a 1:1 with the store manager and it went well (or so I thought) but I did not get an offer. Then I saw an ad on Craigslist and I applied again and had a trial day with a shift supervisor. I was supposed to have a brief chat with the assistant manager but she said maybe 3 sentences to me the entire time I was there. I did the trial day and was told I would hear back from them if I got it or not and 2 weeks went by and I did not hear from them. When I called several times asking to talk to assistant manager, she never once returned any of my phone calls and when I emailed her asking why I was not chosen, she couldn't give me a valid reason.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a time where you were in a situation with a difficult customer and how did you resolve it.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sprinkles Cupcakes (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2014
Interview
First you get a basic interview "tell us about yourself, why do you want to work here etc" if they like you next is your trial day to see how you fit in & work under pressure and you either get an offer or not shortly after you also get paid for working that trial day !
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sprinkles Cupcakes (Washington, DC) in Sep 2013
Interview
There was a written test, followed by an interview and a trial day. If all three are passed, you get the job. (But usually, if you make it to the trial day, you have the job unless you do something really stupid).
