First interview took about a hour and we talked about what strand is and what their values are, as well as some of their benefits. If they like you you’ll be asked to come in for a second interview.
It was a very easy and friendly 15-minute virtual interview. We talked about what my interests were within Civil Engineering and what was available at their location versus at their other locations.

Interview
Strand came to my university. Applied online through Handshake, then was contacted for an interview. Interviewed with one employee on campus. Was emailed and offered a second interview at company office. Interviewed with the main PE at the office, then a conference video interview with the Wisconsin office. Everyone was very nice and it was an overall very pleasant experience. Everyone went out of their way to make you feel very comfortable during the interview process.
